This low energy home was constructed in 2012 in accordance with High Environmental Quality standards of sustainable development.
All the houses in the Golden Lakes village are constructed on a wooden frame using sustainable products that are respectful of the environment.
The houses are warm and comfortable with excellent thermic and acoustic insulation.
Each house has a large terrace and is surrounded by small ponds and gardens.
L'Heure Bleue is a large holiday home approximately 130m2 (1,400sq ft) in size with 4 bedrooms, a wonderful 30m2 (320sq ft) terrace and a private sauna.
On the ground floor, there is a separate toilet and a double bedroom with en suite bathroom, a cloakroom area, an open plan living room, dining room and kitchen plus an adjacent utility room.

The open plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge freezer, a vitro-ceramic hob, a fan oven and grill, a dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee percolator and Senso coffee machine. A full list of kitchen utensils is available under “inventory”.
To the standard list we have added a teapot with filter, a toaster, egg cups, a set of kitchen scales, and some coasters.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom, a separate toilet plus an additional shower room.

The site extends over 20 hectares along the banks of Lake Plate Taille.
Designed by the architects Philippe Valentiny & Associates, the holiday homes all have pure simple lines with wood ever present.
The houses are built in clusters surrounded by landscaped gardens with numerous ponds and water features.
Numerous walkways, little wooden bridges and tranquil ponds all contribute to the feeling of peace and well-being.
